I started assembling my own PC a few months ago and everything was functioning well until recently. I was using the Windows 10 upgrade tool from Windows, but without any DVD drives available, setting up the OS became quite challenging. Last week, while playing a late-night session of CIV 5, I paused the game and put the computer to sleep. When I woke up after a power outage, I turned it back on only to notice it was malfunctioning. The system reported that the download and desktop files weren’t in the expected location. I reset everything to default settings, but the issue persisted—my game data wasn’t saving properly, there were glitches with downloads, programs like Utorrent displayed a HTA error, and other applications had multiple problems. I attempted to restore the OS to factory defaults, but it failed repeatedly. The hard drives are brand new, so I’m not in a position to replace them right now. Here are my system specifications: Gigabyte Z97-HD3 motherboard, Intel i5 4690k (4.5GHz), DDR3 1337MHz RAM, 1TB hard drive, 650W Cosair power supply, Gigabyte WindForce 3 R9 280x GPU. Nathan

If you need a new setup, create a USB drive and reinstall Windows 10 using the same installation code.
