My computer keeps failing, it restarts up to 40 times daily. It often displays a system service exception or watchdog violation warning in irql. The only solution I tried was running a game in the background, which cut crashes by about 90%. Still, after resetting my PC, the issue persists. I’ve spent a lot on repairs, but the problem remains. Windows 10 key was missing, so I bought one for around £300. It’s frustrating because the constant crashes disrupt my schoolwork, and even on YouTube I get error messages. I’ve watched many videos trying to fix it but nothing works. It’s a nightmare and I really need help.

It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong because I’m not familiar with your system. However, if you’ve had it for a while or have installed components, the problem might be related to overheating—just reapply thermal paste to your CPU cooler or open up the case and add some paste. Alternatively, it could be a hard drive issue, but I’ll keep looking for more clues.

These error codes usually indicate a problem with the chipset and display drivers. Since updating drivers can be difficult and not always successful, I recommend reinstalling Windows 10 if you haven't tried that yet.

First, back up all important files on your OS drive.

Next, create a bootable USB drive from your computer.

Finally, turn off your computer and start it from the USB drive. If you need more specific steps, just let me know.

I've removed and readded Windows multiple times yet it keeps crashing. Do you have any additional ideas to explore?
