I'm here to help. What do you need?
I assembled my first computer. I played a Roblox game with a friend and it suddenly crashed, froze, and quit without me pressing Alt+F4 or closing it. Within five seconds, it crashed again and kept crashing. After a short BSOD, it displayed a message saying I don’t remember the issue, but it still boots BSOD and won’t show up on the screen anymore. My motherboard’s BIOS screen boot is now failing, and it keeps happening until I turn it off. My dad is really upset because this machine broke.
Have you attempted to reset the BIOS? (Disconnect your PC from the power source, remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard, let it sit for 10-20 seconds, then reinstall the battery)
I've already attempted to replace the new CMOS battery, but it doesn't power on and the UEFI BIOS only displays a logo. It turns off again and then back on repeatedly. I've tried changing the RAM, unplugging the HDD and SSD, but I really don't want to switch things or have someone fix it without my parents knowing.
You were confused about what I said initially. To explain, it seems you were talking about a Roblox game that crashed and froze, causing your PC to freeze after just a few seconds. There are several possible causes, such as overheating the CPU, damaged RAM, or issues with the integrated graphics affecting the GPU. I don’t know your PC’s specifications, so I’m sorry if my guesses were incorrect.
So yeah, I'm sorry my English isn't great. I'll try to speak more clearly if I can. My method hasn't been tried yet. I just used to remove the CMOS battery and leave it for about 20 minutes. I've also tried unplugging the GPU and RAM, but haven't tried putting a RAM stick in first. Here are my specs: I7-3770 basic non-unlocked Gigabyte z77p-d3 ATX, 16GB RAM DDR3, Asus GTX 750ti, 2GB RAM stick, 128GB SSD, ADATA 1TB, 7200kW, Cooler Master Extreme Xtreme 500W.
If the system needs repair rather than just a restart, it suggests damaged boot files. You should make a recovery USB.
I realize my Windows is damaged now. However, when I powered on the PC, it kept restarting and didn’t show any updates. The BIOS seemed to revert back to an older version before I applied the latest changes.
Idk but could be my ssd problem at this point. But heres the vid : https://streamable.com/hmpmgc
