I started with my brand new PC and followed all the YouTube guides. I used command prompt tricks, registry fixes, updated drivers, and even performed a system restore and network reset. Each time I received: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)." This message kept appearing. I also tried installing the Wi-Fi driver myself since it wasn’t present initially. The problem has stayed with me all night, and I’m wondering if a faulty motherboard might be the cause. By the way, my motherboard is an ASUS PRIME 510M-E. I checked for OEM drivers but only found a LAN driver. Could it be that I don’t have a Wi-Fi motherboard? If so, what should I do? Also, my Ethernet doesn’t work either—it says there’s no valid IP configuration. Help would be appreciated.

You're attempting to install Wi-Fi drivers on a device without any Wi-Fi capability.

Hey, as mentioned by @emosun, the labeled port is the wired LAN connection—don’t attempt to install wireless drivers there. I saw the 'Other Devices' section in your device manager. What’s listed there? It’s normal for Windows to locate drivers for your physical NIC but not for the wireless card.
