I'm having trouble setting up Windows on my computer.
I purchased a brand-new drive some time ago. I installed Windows 10 via DVD, then set up Windows 10 Home. Later, I wanted to install Windows 10 Professional again using my CD. However, after the installation, the Windows logo disappears completely, leaving no cursor. There’s no flashing light from the CD driver when the screen goes black, and after restarting multiple times, setup appears without a black screen, but the installation still fails—showing no hard drive. I’ve also tried Windows 8.1 and 7, but the issue persists. Please help me. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Yes, I can access your BIOS settings. Regarding Windows performance, it should be running normally unless there are specific issues like driver problems or hardware conflicts.
Yes, you can check your bios settings. The Windows on your PC won’t start properly (booted from the HDD) and only displays a flickering icon (click that icon).
Start by not needing to reinstall Windows to switch to Pro. Simply type the Pro key. Next, go to BIOS settings and confirm your drive is detected. Make sure all connections are secure.
The system always shows your driver in BIOS, possibly due to an issue with the CD drive. It might help to switch to a bootable USB instead of using the CD for installation.
