I installed Windows 11 on my Dell laptop via an update from Windows 10. I observed that my time was off by an hour after DST began. After searching for solutions, I tried the suggested steps but found nothing. The instructions mentioned checking the DST tab on the right side, but it wasn’t there and didn’t have a toggle. I realized this setting belonged to Windows 10, not 11, which is unusual after an upgrade. Despite this, research indicated the same fix applies to both versions. Also, the dates seemed correct, so I think the issue lies with DST not displaying or functioning properly.

In which zone should this be? It shouldn't matter that it matches yours, as we both have the same date and time. Why should this be the solution? From the time I was young, computers handled this without issues for years.

As mentioned in my post, "I wasn't able to locate the daylight saving setting to activate. All other settings remain enabled."

It resembles your photo closely except for the first line where yours contains the exact wording of daylight savings; mine only has "set time automatically" and all switches are ON. I assumed everything should match, but it doesn’t. I even searched for "daylight savings" in settings and got nothing. I was given an update, thinking it might show up in the 22h2 version, but after restarting I still can’t see any related tab.

You're correct. Since you live in NYC, you only experience one time zone—Eastern Time.
