To secure the funds I needed, I had to sell my previous 2060 Super around a year ago. Now I’ve managed to acquire a better unit, though its setup differs from the last one—using two 8-pin power connectors instead of the single 8-pin and 6-pin configuration. Since I upgraded to a NZXT 650W modular power supply, I’m confident it can handle the Asus ROG Strix 2060 Super with 8GB RAM. However, after connecting the two 8-pin adapters, the system isn’t working properly; only two lights appear above the power indicators instead of the expected output.
Remove the card and verify that no marks are present on the PCIe connections. This test will determine if there’s a connection issue, assuming the board is clean for PCIe use since you haven’t installed a GPU recently. Just reinsert it and observe the performance.
