once i restarted my computer i encountered a cmos error and had to switch the battery manually. the message disappeared but the issues persisted. here are the problems i’m facing: 1) i must boot from bios to access my system, otherwise it freezes during login. this happens every time i restart. 2) i can’t put my pc to sleep; turning it off and on repeatedly is necessary. 3) it often crashes within 1-2 minutes after powering on, forcing me to restart. 4) performance drops noticeably after about 15-20 minutes of use, making even streaming slow. 5) many applications lag or close unexpectedly—valorant freezes after selecting agents, fifa 17 closes when entering kickoff, and rise of the tomb raider stutters at medium settings. i suspect a hardware issue and need assistance urgently.

These seem to be Windows-related problems. Try launching startup recovery and see if it resolves the issue. Then attempt the auto-repair feature to check for a fix.

You won't be able to perform a reinstallation of Windows.

I’d just proceed with a clean reinstall of the windows for OP.

The system prompts for your user account password during startup recovery, even though you've entered it correctly. This could be due to a temporary issue or configuration problem. Try restarting the device or checking your connection. If the issue persists, contact support for further assistance.

I experienced this problem in my youth—it doesn’t request your Windows login but instead asks for your Microsoft account password.

I used my Microsoft account password instead of the Windows PIN. I updated it and verified all letters and numbers, but it didn’t work.
