I'm experiencing issues where all programs fail to run without a graphics card.
Hi,
I purchased a Lenovo Legion Y740 15 inch model (8th Intel Core) a few years back. About half a year ago, after playing a game, it crashed and has been non-functional ever since. I've tried wiping the Windows several times, even reinstalling the NVIDIA driver and older versions, but the problem persists. The laptop has one integrated graphics card and one dedicated gaming card (RTX 2060). Simple games run smoothly, but titles like Euro Truck Simulation 2, GTA 5, and Diablo III either fail to launch or cause crashes and flickering before ending. The Heaven Benchmark 4.0 results show an unrecognized error message related to the GPU. I checked the device manager, task manager, dxdiag, and they seem to be operational, but I’m unsure what else I can do to resolve this.
if you reinstalled windows and the driver was installed from scratch, it could mean your graphics card is overheating or your power supply isn't sufficient.
