I’m experiencing an issue with my video game where the display is intermittently flashing.
My system includes an AMD FX6300 processor, 8GB of DDR3 HyperX Fury RAM, a Gigabyte 970 A DS3P motherboard with a Kingston 120GB SSD and a Toshiba 500GB HDD, powered by a Chieftec 500W Smart Series supply. I own an MSI R7 370 4GB graphics card. When running desktop applications or less intensive games like League of Legends, the display is normal. However, when playing graphically demanding titles such as Forza Horizon 4 or PUBG, I experience significant screen flickering – in FH4, road and vehicle textures intermittently flash black, while in PUBG, black textures constantly appear across the ground and character models. My GPU temperature reaches a maximum of 68°C during full load, and I’ve ruled out overheating issues. I've tested various drivers and haven’t found a solution. I suspect a potential hardware failure and would like to determine if the graphics card is defective or repairable.
What's the age of your graphics card, and which power supply unit are you utilizing?
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.
Moving post to PC Gaming.
Can you try your gpu in other pc maybe ask any of your friends or pc stores they might help you with that if the results is the same then your gpu is dying and you can’t fix that ,if you can’t do it then first of all make a fresh install of windows and try to download one of your games (fresh files) I really hope it’s small problem good luck!
I’ve tested this on different computers and the issue persists. I attempted a Windows reinstallation and thoroughly cleaned the system, reinstalling games, yet the problem continues to occur repeatedly. The same game exhibits the exact same issue on another computer.
Your graphics card is failing, or it may continue to function albeit with occasional display distortions.
