The game operates as crossfire, closely resembling CSGO. I'm certain it can exceed 200 fps (reaching at least 240). On my PC, it's limited to around 200 frames, though RivaTuner managed to push it up to about 230 using the maximum setting. It keeps fluctuating between 200 and 240, suggesting a possible software issue—perhaps related to an NVIDIA configuration I'm unaware of. The game isn't capped in NVCP either; uninstalling Rivatuner didn't resolve the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Specs: Windows 11, Intel i7-13400F, 2060.

Verify your CPU and GPU activity, plus related metrics. If the situation matches "Similar to CSGO," it means a single thread is consistently at 100%. That’s likely the issue.

Occasionally the GPU drops to low values like 20%, yet it recovers quickly. If a specific thread was causing issues, would I maintain steady 200 frames per second?

You can't see the total CPU usage; you need to check each thread individually on your processor. My CPU is staying around 100% during games, yet it's still under 20% utilization. This is because game engines operate differently. (Two threads are constantly running at full speed, while others are much less active.)

I once mistakenly set my frame rate high in the Nvidia Control Panel, which was hard to locate since the scroll wheel alters settings while navigating 3D menus.
