I’m experiencing an issue with textures failing to load within Fortnite. I believe my central processing unit (CPU) may be the root cause of this problem. My system includes an Intel Core i3 550 processor and a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 gigabytes of video memory. Could someone please advise me on what might be causing this?

My system configuration:
- GTX 1060 6gb
- Intel Core i3 550
- 8gb DDR3 RAM
- 600w Cougar PSU (80+Bronze)
- 120gb SSD
- 240gb HDD

Would it be an improvement if I switched to a Core i5 3470?

I believe there’s a solution to your existing configuration. The difficulty lies in the numerous possibilities for resolving your issue, so I recommend exploring online communities with similar problems and/or video tutorials demonstrating a possible fix.

I've consulted numerous guides and resources… however, the identical issue persists with Grand Theft Auto V, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Control, Watch Dogs 2, and Forza Horizon 4.

The system performed a benchmark test, and the results indicated some areas where performance could be improved.

There appears to be a problem with two of your storage devices, potentially causing the texture loading difficulty you’re experiencing. I recommend transferring your game to the healthier drive and investing in replacement drives. To identify which drives are performing optimally, please download and execute CrystalDiskInfo to assess their functionality.

I'm concerned about my memory. Also, I’m playing Fortnite successfully on my hard drive; however, I'm still experiencing texture loading issues. Therefore, I believe the problem isn’t with the hard drive itself...it must be something else. It could potentially be related to my RAM or processor.

Based on the data presented in the benchmark outcomes, it appears your memory is nearing its limit. However, frequently occurring texture loading problems are often attributable to a failing hard drive.
