I put Windows 8.1 on my main system (refer to signature). When trying to install the Nvidia drivers, I encounter an immediate blue screen with error code PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA. I attempted the newest version and a driver from September, but I noticed issues during the updates. Please assist—I only need to play games.

What were you discussing? This device and this card performed flawlessly on Linux, indicating the hardware is in good condition.

It's a fresh setup, which shouldn't be an issue. Also, it's running Windows 8.1, not Windows 10...

I understand but it might still be viable. 8.1 and 10 are quite similar. otherwise, I have no clear next steps.
