I’m attempting to boost my processor's speed.
Greetings, I’ve been exploring YouTube videos and researching CPU overclocking techniques. I’ve been raising my processor’s clock speed to approximately 4.2 GHz. I performed a stability test on my computer, but it crashed, necessitating an increase in the CPU voltage. I learned that a value around 1.4 volts is generally advised. Consequently, I access my BIOS and within the CPU Vcore setting, I began raising the voltage figure. However, the maximum allowed voltage increment is +0.620v, featuring a plus sign – I’m puzzled by this. Why does it restrict me from using 1.4 volts? What's the significance of the plus symbol? I attempted to find answers online without success. As this marks my initial overclocking experience, please be understanding and avoid harsh criticism heheh.
Could you please specify your processor and motherboard models?

“Could you please tell me which Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Motherboard you are using? I have an AMD FX 8350 processor, an evo Hyper 212x cooler fan, and a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard.”
