People have been using these terms together for about six years. Often asked is whether there’s a real difference or if it’s just a tactic by Adobe to earn more. For those curious about the distinctions and beginners, Indian designer M.A. Kather made a project highlighting the contrasts between illustrator and Photoshop in simple visual design. What do you prefer? SOURCE This comparison may lean toward Illustrator, but it’s meant to help newcomers understand the basics of this industry. Sorry for the lengthy explanation—hope it helps!

I studied this in ICT last term. I like Photoshop since it lets me create anything from simple edits to game posters and memes. That’s something I’ll never forget.

It's not accurate to compare them directly since they serve distinct purposes. Also, using Ctrl+Shift+Z in Photoshop moves you back several steps (or maybe Alt? I'm not sure), while Illustrator is better suited for logo and design work.

they indeed serve various purposes, beyond just vector and pixel distinctions. the writer seems aiming to highlight key contrasts for newcomers and those unfamiliar with the topic. it’s a clever way to clarify major differences. ctrl+alt+z

Appreciate the visual details! The right terms are raster graphics in Photoshop and vector graphics in Illustrator.
