It appears to be an MSI or EXE file, likely from an installation process rather than a standard file extraction.

It's an EXE every time I attempt to extract it, and the error keeps showing up.

What system specs do you possess? Do you have an Intel 13th or 14th generation i7/i9 with a K core, or an i5 featuring a K? If so, do you have the most recent BIOS? Issues with decompression can indicate CPU wear, such as Raptor Lake degradation. Some installers also compress files during setup, but other problems may exist.

The term you need is execute. This applies to compressed files such as .zip, .7z, or .rar. It might be a permission issue. Do you have an admin account? It could also be a corrupted Windows installation.

Installers may also contain compressed files. During execution and installation, they decompress these files. We wish the OP isn't experiencing CPU issues, but there might be another simpler cause.

Certainly, discussing decompression during execution of an executable can be somewhat confusing.

You're asking about the destination for extraction, but no specific location was mentioned. Could you clarify where you'd like this to be extracted?

From some googling it looks like Error 0x80004005 is a generic error that happens when Windows cannot access a file/folder, often due to permission issues or corrupted files. Running the installer as an admin should fix it if the file is good, but if you have a corrupted driver, you need to get a new one

I didn't realize you were planning to connect via Ethernet, but it's fine if you try that instead.
