It's generally not toxic, except for silver. You're not sure what Dust 2 Silver 1 feels like, and you're avoiding the rough edges of silver. I went through it once and it wasn't great.

If it were free, it would definitely be a thrilling challenge. There are plenty of hackers available these days since the game is currently on sale. If it were free, it would be tough to avoid encountering one.
