Hey! so I recently started to stream more often and I noticed a couple things, After nearing the 1 hour and 49 to 55ish mark of streams so far, My bitrate seems to drop really badly. I have this information based off 2 recent streams that I have done. Now It could be that its a coincidence that the duration of the stream pooping itself being so similar on both cases has no impact on why my stream frame drops but I should note both these stream were started around 8PMish and ended due to poor bitrate nearing late nights from 11:30pm to 1:20AM. I have a internet plan of 400MBPS download and 20 Upload and I'm already connected VIA ethernet straight to my modem so I'm getting the most out of it. I always test before streaming to see if I'm getting 20 Upload and It always seems to work fine until it poops itself in the end. I don't know if its a internet plan thing and I'm getting capped or its a software thing or maybe something else. My streams are never Laggy on 1080p 60 no FPS issue since my PC is pretty well put for them but when my bitrate drops I get confused My Specs if needed: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TCkqFg Not sure why this is the case so If anyone has any solutions to this problem that would be greatly appreciated!! I can provide any info if needed. Here is my OBS Logs if it helps, This LOG was from my most recent stream that ended nearing the 1hr and 49 Mark at around 1:25AM asdasd Here Here the Log of me starting up the stream again trying to see if my Bitrate would fix itself after ending the first time but still the same results, so i ended up stopping again after 5 minutes HERE IS STATS FROM TWITCH INSPECTOR THAT SHOWS TIME AND BITRATE SLOWDOWN IF NEEDED!!
I'm curious to see how this turns out—it's a fascinating challenge. The timing could be a hint. Is your router getting excessively hot? Thermal throttling might lead to this kind of issue, but I'd expect it to reach maximum temperatures sooner if that happens. For future gaming sessions, try directing a household fan straight onto the router to check if it helps. Good luck!
