IDLE temperature 55°C on Be Quiet dark rock3
It turns out my reapplication of thermal paste didn't spread properly, leaving most of it on the sides of the cooler. Even after adding more, the temperatures stayed high—idle temps between 40 and 50°C, while boost temps reached 70°C and the CPU ran at 4.05 to 4.1Ghz. That matches what I expected from this cooler.
