I encountered issues when trying to run 1600x900, especially with Alt+Enter in-game. Reinstalling helped, but changing to windowed mode and back didn’t resolve the problem.

The game might not be fully optimized. Could you tell me what kind of monitor you're using?

It functioned previously but stopped after an update. Changing it again didn’t restore it, possibly due to the update affecting it.

H1Z1's performance is poor with subpar optimization and faulty code.

They likely introduced a bug affecting your resolution after an update. Try using your original resolution settings and revert if needed. The game should still work, with the main issues being menus only.

The issue is that I need to adjust the crosshair to look best on 1600x900 only; other sizes don’t work well.

It’s always been okay for me on CS. They can tackle the simple stuff right away. At least the resolutions should be functioning perfectly from day one when the game starts.

I push myself to run at 4:3 768 just to get an acroshair I can aim with.

I also use 768 since 1600x900 isn't working and I need to adjust for some poor dot handling. The crosshair is too spread out in the middle, which is really frustrating. I think I'll play better at a resolution I can actually handle.
