Hello and TIA for reading! I encountered an unusual issue after purchasing a secondary display. My main monitor is 27 inches with 2560x1440 resolution, while the secondary is 22 inches at 1920x1080. Windows automatically rearranges my desktop each time I connect the secondary screen. This reordering resets if I disconnect it, but when I unplug it while it's still connected, Windows attempts to rearrange everything again on every restart or disconnection. What surprised me is that this problem didn’t exist in a previous two-display configuration. I’ve spent many hours trying to fix it without success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This screenshot shows my desktop when the secondary display is active: This is how it should appear.

Windows 10 is causing some issues right now. Version 11 should resolve it. Certain programs can handle icon placement more effectively than the built-in system.
