Details: Motherboard model ASRock B450M Steel Legend, CPU Ryzen 7 2700, GPU RX580, 8GB RAM (2x8GB), Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz, 650W power supply. I've already used standard fixes like msconfig, Windows memory diagnostic, regedit checks, and verified RAM installation. No luck so far—I'm getting really frustrated. My system recognizes both RAM modules with the BIOS active. About half of my RAM is marked as "Hardware Reserved." Pic Related:

I attempted an update based on the issue I encountered, but nothing changed. CPU-Z shows both drives detected, BIOS also lists both, yet Windows claims 8.1GB is reserved for hardware. I verified each drive separately in all slots and they function properly. It seems my system is working fine, though it might impact gaming performance.

Are you sure the CMOS is working? If not, remove the CPU, restart it, and let it sit before reinserting it. Occasionally AGESA fails to reset after clearing CMOS.

Yes, removing the battery and letting it rest is a common way to help a device recover.
