Generally whenever I launch a game on my laptop or use editing software, it slows down while charging. This isn’t a big problem when not connected, but it still causes lag and drops CPU speed to below 1 GHz. The issue occurs while plugged in, and I’m not sure how to resolve it. I don’t have any updates installed, so I’m uncertain about the solution. My system has an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics (as listed) and I’m on high performance mode. If there’s anything I can do to fix this, please let me know.

Is the performance still affected after the battery reaches full capacity? This is typical for certain laptops, as they manage heat and power output.
