I have a gigabyte z690 motherboard with a i5-12600k a Samsung m.2 and Samsung 2.5 ssd and 4 tb hdd the gpu is a evga 3070 and the psu is a evga 700 watt and 2 16gb stick of ram and there are Kingston fury beast. Ever since it was built I have had problems with blue screen of death and recently it started artifacting I tried uninstalling the driver with ddu then doing a clean install tried doing a complete reset and reinstall of windows I’ve made sure the vga cables are all the way in I tried putting the gpu in one of the other pcie slot and the artifacting got even worse I ran the gpu z and it says the bus and bandwidth are unknown and the memory is at 0 I’m wondering if the gigabyte motherboard is no good or the gpu

The issue could stem from a RAM-related blue screen error.

The RAM could exacerbate the issue in the secondary PCIe slot.

Help needed! The motherboard doesn’t power on with the CPU inside, but it works without it.

I completed the memory test and it initially functioned briefly before beginning to show artifacts again. I tried various RAM sticks, but the issue persisted.

Are you referring to GPU RAM or regular RAM? Changing the resolution to a lower setting won't cause artifacts if you're using normal RAM.

Are you referring to GPU RAM or regular RAM? I've also encountered DXGI, error, and basic rendering issues.

This appears to be a GPU-related problem. I'm initiating an RMA for the GPU if there are issues in both PCI-e ports. Keep in mind, EVGA is exiting the GPU market, which might affect replacement options, but I recommend proceeding. There should be many RTX3070 units available to fix any related problems.
