Hello PC spec: RTX 4070 SUPER Ryzen 7700x 32gb ram Resolution: 1080p I’m facing issues with Ark, returned after a new DLC was added, and it’s not playable as shown in the printscreen. Stability is minimal at 60 fps on Epic settings—low CPU usage but high GPU load. Lowering the settings brings it up to 100 FPS, though with significant drops. This behavior is unusual since similar problems don’t occur in other games like Elden Ring, FF5, or God of War. Online reports suggest my setup is strong and this bottleneck isn’t typical. I’m new to this and would appreciate some advice. Thanks!
Is it a rough, choppy performance or does it run smoothly under high settings? If it stutters and it's just Ark, it might point to a driver issue or a game bug. If it's just under 60, you've already figured it out yourself.
I overlooked the Ark Survival Evolved update—this is the Aquatica DLC, not Ark Survival Ascended. Also, 60 fps isn't playable; it's choppy and unstable.

In theory it could be, but in practice it usually isn't. Unless you're talking about hardware constraints, most modern PCs can handle demanding tasks well.
