Hello ive been wondering how to unpark cores on the i5-13400f cause ive tried 1 program that didnt do anything and changing the registry file but it goes back to default and parks like 6 cores which affects the perfomance quite a bit i understand that it activates itself once needed but theres a moment where it doesnt do that that in time and just freezes good example escape from tarkov theres a time when it uses all of the cores and while loading it freezes for 1-3s and unfreezes

Intel boards offer a way to switch the E cores on or off using the Scroll Lock key.

Yes, it reduces the total number of cores and threads from 10 to 6 and 12 respectively.

In fact, yes—it functions as a compatibility setting for programs and games that don’t run smoothly on E cores. Your CPU would then rely solely on P cores during that feature. Maybe I misread your question; I assumed you were asking about manual core control?

It's a bit confusing, but it seems like those cores aren't really needed because they only turn off instead of disabling them. That would make it look more like an i5-12400F, which makes sense since I thought those cores should always be running. They do take a while to boot up, which can sometimes cause games to freeze, but it's just one game and Tarkov usually handles it quickly once all cores are active. Thanks for the clarification!
