I observed recently while playing "Control" that a particular section of the game is making my system increase and then decrease power when I leave it running. Interestingly, this zone is known as The Furnace Room—probably because it contains a furnace. It really reflects what happens to my system upon entering that area. When paused, my system draws around 150-270 watts, but in The Furnace Room it spikes to 450-500 watts with all fans activated. Your system specs include a Ryzen 5950X, an EVGA XRC Ultra 3070, a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, 64GB of 3200MHz GDDR6 RAM, and an EVGA CLC 360 AIO with six fan push-pull cooling.

RTX support isn't ideal for ray tracing due to the challenges posed by dynamic light sources like flames. Their unpredictable behavior can significantly increase GPU workload.

My RTX is completely off, yet the remaining options are still set to ultra or max at 1080p.

The glow remains invisible. It appears as a vivid, sun-like spot.
