Identify the issue that slows down your build process.
Hey there, I’m trying to figure out why my build isn’t performing as well as I hoped. I’ve been playing games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, but I’m not getting the smoothness I expected. I keep updating my GPU and using the Nvidia Experience tool. Recently, I switched to RDR 2 and initially it ran at about 60% usage with high to ultra settings (60 fps). However, after a recent patch, usage dropped to 30-40%, and I’m not seeing the same graphics quality. I’ve tried changing freesync settings, switching between performance and gaming modes, and even disabled overclocking. I don’t have the newest hardware, but here’s what my setup looks like: Ryzen 1800X CPU, Asus motherboard, Stryx B350 GPU, dual 8GB 3000 RAM sticks, MSI Duke 1080 graphics card, cooling master with two 120mm fans, and an Evga 750W gold monitor with a 2560x1080 ultra wide display at 75Hz. I’m planning to upgrade the parts that might be limiting performance. Appreciate any advice!
The drivers allow XMP/DPOC profiles to be applied without needing full CPU or GPU usage.
Yes, it's possible to receive a 60% CPU allocation and 40% GPU usage at the same time.
Before the driver update, his GPU usage was 60%. After the update, it decreased to 40%.
Thanks for the tofu, but I need a complete approach for your project. I’ll definitely give your solution a shot too!
