Hey everyone, I just set up a gaming PC for titles like Arma 3 and DayZ. My rig has an Intel i5 6500, a Gigabyte G1 Gaming RX 480, and 8GB RAM. I thought the settings I chose—mostly Ultra or Very High—should make things run smoothly, but when playing multiplayer I’m only getting 20-40 frames per second. I’m curious if there’s more I can do to improve my FPS. Also, I’m using a widescreen monitor at 1680x1050 (16:10).

Simplify visuals to a high resolution instead of extremely detailed

I've attempted that but no changes were made, still around 30 FPS.

You're only able to play at lower settings because the engine isn't optimized well. The FPS looks normal for what you have, but the game is quite demanding on the CPU. Your hardware is solid, though the optimization issues are noticeable.
