Identify and address the issues promptly.
My father notices issues when the computer starts. He mentions that lower room temperatures slow down the process. It gradually improves but takes time. The display model is a VIOTEK GFV27DAB 27” 165Hz QHD 1440p. Please let me know if you need additional details. Thank you for your assistance.
It's not something that can be easily repaired—it’s a loose connection. As the monitor panel warms up, contact forms and it works temporarily. It appears to be a tape with contacts that are bonded onto other contacts, and the adhesive is deteriorating. There’s insufficient pressure to maintain proper contact. In the image below, the circuit board is positioned behind the panel, with a flexible plastic layer connecting to the LCD glass and adhering to the nearly invisible traces on it. Either on the panel or the board, there are faulty contacts that improve with heat expansion, likely due to temperature changes.
You're welcome. I understand you're planning to replace your monitor, which is a smart move. If it breaks, it won't be a major setback. There are resources available to help you fix it yourself—websites, tutorials, and forums often provide step-by-step guides for reattaching components. Check if the parts are compatible with your current setup beforehand.
