Hey everyone, in 2021 I had Corsairs 16 with 2*8GB RAM and Samsung v4.31. Now I bought another with the same serial and timing but from Hynix v3.31. It starts up, but I’m wondering if it’s stable? I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSS B550 Tomahawk. What do you think?

I just confirmed the version number refers to Micron 8Gb B die, not Hynix models like 5.32 or 5.21. It should be fine, but running a memory stress test such as MemTest86 would give extra confidence.

Usually, at normal speed. If I were you, I’d sell it and buy a 2x16.

If it meets stability checks, retain it—this version offers slightly better performance thanks to the dual rank setup.

It seems like you're saying something about a micron value. Could you clarify what you mean?
