The district is reorganizing its technical support staff and moving them into a centralized helpdesk system. I’ve handled similar helpdesk roles before, and I’ve relied on IM programs for communication. Microsoft Lync works well for me, though it’s costly for teams under ten people. Looking for alternatives with PC, Android, or iOS versions that include integration with platforms like LDAP would be ideal. Free solutions are preferred since funding is limited, but cost-effective options are also appreciated!
