You have an Asus Tuf X570 with Gigabit onboard speed and need a reliable PCIe 2.5 GB card. I recommend checking out the PCIe 2.5 x4 cards like the ASUS PCIe 2.5 x4 2GB or similar models for stable performance.

From a price perspective, the dependability isn't clear to me, but I think it could be solid. These cards on Newegg seem promising. Note: PCI and PCIe are distinct standards, with PCIe offering serial connections instead of the parallel setup of PCI. If your motherboard supports PCIe, that might improve performance.

Additionally, there are cards supporting 5 Gbps, such as this one: https://www.startech.com/en-us/networking-io/st5gpexnb I’m not sure about its performance, but it should fit in any PCIe 2.0 x4 slot or better. Of course, it’s more expensive than a standard 2.5 Gbps card because these are less common.

He’s been using this adapter on his PC for nearly three years without any problems. The top-rated option on Amazon is a TP-Link model, and it matches the price of the other one he’s using.

I recently purchased a TP-Link model from Newegg because my X670e motherboard's NIC has been unreliable, so I've switched to Wi-Fi despite being just a short distance away. However, something in Windows 11 is causing driver issues.
