Hi everyone, I hope everything is okay with you all!
I’m facing a problem with my iCUE setup where it doesn’t detect my RAM. Even though the two lighting nodes for Corsair fans are recognized by the software, my RAM isn’t showing up. I can install the RAM modules through iCUE, but I can’t adjust their RGB settings.

I’ve tried several solutions—clean reinstalling, BIOS updates with SPDs, and using third-party tools like SignalRGB and OpenRGB—but nothing has resolved the issue.
Yesterday it worked again, but today it’s completely unrecognizable. There was a red triangle next to it saying “iCUE has stopped receiving data from DRAM,” making it almost useless.

Any suggestions would be really helpful!

PC specs:
OS – Windows 11 updated
CPU – Intel Core I7 13700K
GPU – Zotac RTX 5080
RAM – DDR4 48GB 3600MHZ
Board – Asus Prime B760m-a wifi
SSD – Samsung Evo 860 512gb
HDD – 1TB
PSU – Corsair RM1000X Newest

Do you have the most recent version of iCUE? Have you attempted to uninstall it using Revo Uninstaller with clear files and registry options? Did you also uninstall other RGB software after testing them (they might interfere with iCUE)? Ensure Asus Amoury Crate is not installed. If you haven’t already, restart the PC (reboot, not shut down).

You might also try booting in safe mode and launching iCUE manually. If it functions, it indicates an issue in normal mode.

Additionally, test with one RAM stick at a time to check for RAM-related problems (if both behave identically, the issue is less likely to be hardware-related).

For your PC to function properly, RGB on RAM is crucial, so replace your RAM if needed.

Did you remove the other RGB software after testing them (they might interfere with iCUE)? Also, ensure Asus Amoury Crate is not installed. You might also try booting in safe mode and launching iCUE manually. If it functions, it indicates an issue in normal mode.

Alternatively, test with one RAM stick at a time to check for RAM-related problems (if both behave the same separately, it’s less likely to be an issue).

RGB is not strictly necessary for PC operation; some users prefer it and pay extra, so we hope it works.

Hello, I completed most of what you suggested but didn't attempt safe mode, even though it didn't resolve the issue with the RGB in iCUE. After removing L Connect and Asus Armoury via Revo Uninstaller, the problem seems to have improved, especially with the RAM being recognized.

Thank you very much for the solution, and I truly value your helpful feedback.

I'm currently using TH after a long period, so I'm having trouble finding the way to mark my answer as correct.

I'm glad it's working. Just a tip: on some older Asus motherboards there's an option that is enabled by default and installs Armoury Crate automatically. If it's on your board it might reinstall it and the problem may come back. You might want to check in your BIOS and make sure it's not there or enabled (I think it's in the "tools" tab in advance options).

Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern about potential conflicts with L connect software.
