Hello everyone! I just upgraded my PC for WIN 11 and have two monitors connected to the GPU (DP and HDMI). The issue I’m experiencing is that when I launch CSGO on my main screen, the entire desktop disappears and shifts to my second monitor. It’s like the second desktop vanishes until I close the game. This is really frustrating. If anyone has a solution, it would be a huge help!

The settings on your computer differ from your CS:GO resolution, causing Windows to see it as a different screen. This might affect your preferences or trigger anti-cheat measures. It could also be related to the game itself.

Perhaps the issue arises when CSGO is launched in Exclusive Fullscreen. Try opening it in Windows mode to determine if that resolves the problem.

According to @Gokul_P, the issue likely stems from a lower CSGO resolution compared to your monitor's resolution. This mismatch causes Windows to misinterpret the icons.

It's really frustrating, has been this way for two decades, and they still can't seem to resolve it. But the solutions I've tried before have actually helped in similar older or less polished titles. (Programming to adapt for modern desktops shouldn't be too tough now, right?)

Thanks for your responses! I'll test CSGO in windowed mode to check the situation. The most unusual part is it didn't work on Windows 10...

Attempted to use windowed mode in CSGO yesterday. It didn't function properly.
