I just observed today while playing Minecraft. My CPU usage hovered between 10-40% and the temperature stayed around 80-100°C. (Reminder: Upgrading the GPU isn’t an option.) Here are the details: Motherboard – ASUS PRIME Z390M-PLUS CPU – RAM – Crucial CB16GU2400 16GB 2400Mhz DDR4 (x2) – GPU – Colorful GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 SSD – HDD – TOSHIBA MQ01ABF050

Checking the cooler performance, what case is being used? Have you verified the heat sink placement and that the fans are functioning properly?

A quicker GPU wouldn't help; in fact, it would worsen the situation since lower frame rates require less CPU usage.

There appears to be a cooling problem; consider reapplying your cooler.

A30 is working fine, all the fans are running and the cooler is properly installed. I just rewelded it and it's now around 90-95 degrees.

Antec A30 is a compact, inexpensive cooler priced around fifteen dollars, completely unsuited for an i9-9900K processor.
