Here’s the summary: I recently received my i9 13900ks from RMA because it was freezing and gave me poor frame rates, making competitive gaming difficult. When I brought the motherboard and CPU back for inspection, they found the CPU faulty due to a core error on OCCT. My previous system (old i7 8700k) never stuttered except at low FPS, but CS2 crashes occur randomly—usually I can troubleshoot and it works fine afterward. Need help with PC parts: i9 13900ks Corsair H100i RGB Platinum, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB/4x8GB, Samsung 870 QVO 4TB x2 RAID Zero, Kingston NV2 1TB SSD, ASUS PG279QM 2K, Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo, Corsair RM850 PSU, and ASUS PG279QM case.

Yes, it seems clear the issue lies with CS2 since the problem disappears when exiting it.

Occasionally it stalls unexpectedly, but you can exit the game at any time when it freezes. On an older i9 13900K, this happened during CS2 and later appeared in titles such as L4D2.
