Hello, everyone. I noticed my i9 13900K overheating quickly after running intensive tasks like benchmarks or heavy workloads—usually hitting 100°C right away. During gaming sessions it stays around 70-75°C, often dropping below that. I've tried enabling Asus MultiCore Enhancement with Turbo Boost limits and set power caps, using a Corsair 750W power supply and a water cooler. When idle or just browsing, temperatures stay under 45°C. Any suggestions?

Consider upgrading to a higher-end cooler or opt for a custom water cooling setup for your 13900K... That powerful chip really benefits from tailored cooling or dropping power below 200W to unlock turbo performance... At that point, switching to a 13600K might have been a smarter move. EDIT: Keep in mind, C23 doesn't fully capture real-world needs and tends to overstress the CPU, though those temps are acceptable for gaming tasks.

You're trying to restrict the benchmark temperatures? That's exactly what benchmarks aim for. Pushing the chip to its limits is the goal. Why restrict it when the test is meant to utilize it fully? Your results might seem normal, but the chip itself has inherent characteristics. Apologies for any confusion.

The 13900k runs too low on voltage, which is problematic because it’s an extremely hot processor. It draws a lot of power and isn’t easily cooled with standard solutions. Your air cooler isn’t very effective either, making it a less-than-ideal match for this chip.
