If you're focused solely on gaming, I don't think you'll notice much difference between the 5900x and 5950x. However, if budget isn't a factor, opting for the 5950x might be a better choice—it tends to last longer.

Not suggesting it's a great pick. Since I've got the funds, why choose the cheaper options? We're still unsure about the future value of 5950x in gaming, so it doesn't really matter right now. I'm just curious what others think.
