Hey, I get it—no need to sound rude. The B450/550/X570 platform is reaching its limit too. It might be smarter to upgrade the chipset if you can, or at least keep the SSD and GPU. If we're planning to switch to DDR5 around two years from now, that could simplify things.
I'd expect the 5900x at this price. It's a bit over the budget, but the 5600x looks like the worst deal with the highest cost. The 5800x offers 33% more cores for half the price, while the 5900x provides 100% more cores for 83% more. Clearly, core count doesn't always mean better performance, but that's the idea.
Essentially it depends on your preference. Both the 5800X, 5600X and 3600 models will look similar at 4K resolution. The main distinction comes into play at 1440p. Choose what feels best for you. If you feel like saving the rest of your funds elsewhere, opt for the cheaper models. Otherwise, consider the 5800X or 10850K.
Gameplay will favor lower limits more often in the 5k series compared to the 3k series, particularly for CPU-intensive titles.
