The main distinction lies in the absence of an integrated GPU (and consequently QuickSync) on the F-series models. All other features remain identical. For gaming, omitting the iGPU won’t affect performance noticeably. Photo and video editing will show no variation unless your software or hardware relies on Intel QuickSync.

If your video editing tool doesn’t require QuickSync, opt for a CPU over an i7. This choice offers double threads, even though single-core performance drops slightly. FPS in games typically won’t be significantly affected by resolution, frame rate goals, or card type.
