dear
SgtScream,
are you certain my GPU is experiencing a bottleneck because the CPU is throttling its temperature? Or could it be related to my 8GB RAM in dual-channel at 2933MHz?

It's clearly not your RAM. You won't feel any change between 2933MHz and 3200MHz, particularly when using 1080p.

It's not due to your memory bandwidth. Your clock speeds drop when the processor reaches its thermal limit. This causes the CPU to reduce its frequency to maintain safe temperatures, which stays below 100°C. Lower frequencies mean the processor can't handle all the frames from your graphics card efficiently. That's a major warning sign and we need to address it first. If the problem continues after fixing the throttling, we'll need to reconsider this thread and dig deeper.

It seems like you're asking if the issue might be related to CPU throttling.

On stock clocks I believe you won't be throttled. If you overclock, you'll face throttling which can lead to performance problems.
