I chose an i7 6700k. Which cooler should I choose: The Cryorig H7 or SilentiumPc Fortis 3? The Fortis 3 seems to be the better option.
I plan to use the Asrock Z170 Gaming K4 motherboard and a GTX 1070. Should I aim for at least 4.5ghz in OC, or can I go higher?
Also, is a 520w PSU suitable for this build? The one I want is the Seasonic 520w. Is it appropriate for them? Is 520w enough?

GamerBoy357 shares tips on achieving the desired performance. The Cryorig H7 can help overclock the i7-6700K to 4.5 GHz, but success depends on securing a silicon lottery. For more details, check the linked thread. A 650W PSU is recommended for an unlocked CPU setup. A suitable option is the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W, which is fully modular and certified. The price is listed at $84.99, but it exceeds budget expectations in some regions.

Around 70 euros is about it. Ideally, it should be cheaper, but if needed, I'll pay a bit more.

this psu is what i was considering. i picked the 520w one. on the pc part picker, it mentions the system will use 370-400w. that's why i believed a 520w would be sufficient.

What are your thoughts on the Thermaltake Smart SE 630W or a Super Flower? I might opt for Seasonic, even if it meant choosing a semi-modular model. Are the Corsair Vs series problematic?

I'll use Fortis 3 and Seasonic 620 without a modular chassis. I'd have liked a semi-modular PSU, but I'll just hide the cables and leave them in place. Thanks.

And by the way, can this rig reach 4.5ghz? That's the lowest I'm aiming for, at least a little extra. Hopefully I'll win the silicon lottery!

GamerBoy357 asked if the rig can reach 4.5ghz, hoping for better performance. He mentioned seeing most rigs on the internet hitting 4.4 to 4.5 GHz, with some even reaching 5.9 GHz. He also noted his own setup with an ASRock Z170 K4, Fortis 3, and i7 6700k.

I will leave some results here once I finish the PC. I am ordering the parts tomorrow. I can't wait to see how much better this old PC becomes with its integrated graphics from a Pentium and to really test it out.
