i7 6700k not overclocking
I'm just starting out with overclocking and don't have much experience. When I try to set the overclock to 4.4 ghz in the BIOS, my computer won't start up at all, even with the highest voltage I can give it. I've tried a maximum of 1.4v, which seems quite high. I'm unsure if I've made a mistake or if something is wrong. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

what psu is this? how do i set it to 4.4ghz? is it adjusting the cpu multiplier or the frequency? i'm modifying the multiplier and my psu is evga supernova 650w.
