i7 6700k AirCooling
i7 6700k AirCooling
Hello everyone!
The issue might already have a solution somewhere, but since I can't pinpoint a specific subject, I'm reaching out for your help!
I plan to purchase an i7 6700k with an Asus Z170-Pro (plus 16 GB DDR4 at 2400mhz). My goal is to overclock the CPU to around 4.5-4.6 GHz.
I need a suitable CPU air cooler, as I don't want to try water cooling and my budget isn't that high.
I'm looking for something under 50 euros, preferably the Hyper 212 Evo.
The main question is whether the Hyper 212 Evo can maintain good temperatures at 100% load while overclocked to 0.5 GHz. If not, what alternatives do you suggest? (I'm open to cheaper options.)
Thanks ahead of time

Excellent Compatibility
No RAM Interference
Designed to maximize compatibility, the H7 features an asymmetric slanted heatpipe design that keeps the heatsink away from the RAM area. This ensures ideal performance with both Intel 115X and AMD platforms, even when paired with tall heat spreaders.

Thanks for your help, mate. I wanted to ask another question.
I've heard that some CPU air coolers are too large and might block DIMM slots for RAM. Will I face a similar issue? As I mentioned, my motherboard is an ASUS Z170 Pro with Kingston Hyper X RAM. What do you think?
Also, if anyone else wants to share their thoughts so we can get more opinions, I'd really appreciate it.
