I followed Linus Haswell's overclocking tutorial, but after setting the CPU ratio to 4.8 and saving, it stopped at the first screen. I can't access BIOS either. The CPU voltage was configured at 1.200. I own a Noctua NH-D15 cooler, and I've restarted the computer several times before it would proceed, but Windows would then report errors like 'windows-driver-overran-stack-buffer' and 'whea uncorrectable error'. Please assist.

Remove CMOS settings. Boost CPU speed gradually. Avoid jumping directly to 4.8GHz.

Disable the CMOS and test with a reduced clock speed.

Reset the CMOS, check if your motherboard has a corresponding button, otherwise remove the battery and wait ten seconds before reinserting it

I started with version 4.6 and it worked well, then switched to 4.8 because the video mentioned an i7 4770K and he quickly moved back to 4.6 to check its performance
