Based on my observations, the 4790k handles temperatures up to about 95 degrees, but I wouldn't suggest running it at that level. My setup stays in the 30s during idle, 50s while gaming, and low 70s under stress tests. Keep in mind that air coolers become much more effective at removing heat when the gap between air and CPU gets wider. If you need higher temps, increase cooling gradually—you might see around 4.6 to 4.8 with a 200W TDP cooler.

It seemed to score around 4.8 at 1.36, but results were similar to 4.5. Extra voltage doesn’t seem to matter unless you’re doing CPU benchmarks.
