It all comes down to the cooling solution you own.
Stock - Avoid attempting overclocking
Noctua NH-D14 - Expected performance around 4.7ghz or 4.8ghz, varying by chipset category

In reality, most chips lose their functionality before they exhaust their thermal capacity, especially with a solid air cooler. (At least at voltages where you'd prefer to keep it running nonstop)

I own a budget deepcool maelstorm 240t. I made this post so others can share their results regarding cooling and voltage performance. Personally, I didn’t find the cooler very effective—my overclock reached 4.7Ghz with only a 1.2v core voltage. Is that considered a positive outcome? Cheers

4.7 with 1.2v works well as an overclock. Previously, I achieved 4.7 at 1.25v, 4.8 at 1.3v, 4.9 at 1.36v, and 5 at 1.45v. I now avoid 1.45v because it caused significant damage to the CPU. For 4.7, I require 1.32v for stability. Currently, I’m running at 4.4 with 1.2v.

KeelinTy shared their experience with different voltages and speeds. They mentioned using 4.7 at 1.25v, 4.8 at 1.3v, and 4.9 at 1.36v, with 5 at 1.45v. They regret running at 1.45v because it caused significant damage to their CPU. They now require 1.32v for stability at 4.7 and are currently using 4.4 at 1.2v. The conversation also asks about how long they've used these settings.

Only 4 days wow
🙁
I expected months but got just a few months.
After overclocking a while ago, I did some benchmarks and games, but performance didn’t improve much, so I kept it at stock.
Another issue is my cooler isn’t powerful enough for a reasonable clock speed.
