i7 4790k 1.31v?
i7 4790k 1.31v?
my concern is whether my new CPU will last at least three years. I'm currently overclocking it to 4.9 with a voltage of 1.31v. It's stable so far, and after a five-hour stress test the peak temperature reached 77 degrees. I won't use this setting all the time; I only use it during streaming or rendering.
it shouldn't cause any problems as long as the cooling is adequate. my 2600k ran at 5ghz for nearly five years before being sold, and it's still functioning properly for the buyer.

Zaje23 should not worry too much as long as the cooling is good. My 2600k ran at 5ghz for nearly five years before I sold it and it's still working well for the buyer. Sorry for the delayed reply, I was just tidying up a bit. Thanks for the help!
