Remember that the Xeons are secured in place. No overclocking or extending boost timers is possible. They run smoothly at stock settings, which is fine, but the 4770K can be adjusted slightly to extend lifespan. A non-K version of the 4770 will behave similarly to the Xeon, except it lacks an integrated GPU. It seems my i5 4440’s iGPU might have failed or the motherboard couldn’t support it, so I didn’t lose anything when switching from that processor. If you need an integrated graphics card, the Xeon isn’t suitable for you.
